چکیده

Air quality is a global concern, with particulate matter receiving considerable attention due to its impact on human health and climate change. Recent advances in low-cost sensors allow their deployment large number measure spatio-temporal real-time air data. Low-cost need careful evaluation both regulatory approved methods other data sets understand efficacy. In this work, PM concentrations measured by deploying at four regional sites are evaluated through comparison satellite-based model MERRA-2 the SASS reference instrument. Daily PM2.5 mass concentration variation was analyzed of India from January 2020 July 2020, including pre-lockdown six different lockdown periods. Higher observed Rohtak (119 µg/m3) compared Mahabaleshwar (33 µg/m3), Bhopal (45 Kashmir during pre-lock down period. During period, reduced significantly period every location, although each location. The trend quite similar measurements, however, reconstructed lower Significant differences were between sensor measurements reanalysis These attributed modelling analysis that measures less as ground-based whereas but needs corrections it subject calibration dependencies biases.
